Find out how it feels to sleep on a luxury houseboat in the green centre of Amsterdam
The space offers two lounge areas. One downstairs, where you can find a flatscreen TV (Netflix ready), a B&O soundsystem and a fireplace. Upstairs, the steering cabin is a lounge area that can be used as dining or office place with 360dg view over the park and canals. Upstairs we also offer a minibar that includes free drinks (wine/beer/soda). At last, the guests have full access to the kitchen (downstairs) which is fully equipped. For example the Espresso coffee machine with delicious cups!
The luxury kitchen made from blue steel with white marble tops is fitted with all needed equipment as a a large fridge with 3 drawer freezer a 90cm width dishwasher, oven/ microwave, 100cm wide cooking plate (gas) and even a Quocker which get you instant boiling water
The master bedroom is located in the stern of the boat. It offers a large 2 person-bed, a walk-in rainshower, two washing stands and a large mirror. This master bedroom allows you to sleep under the stars because of the skylight window, or you can eighter shoose to watch a movie in bed. (there is only one bedroom)
The luxury bathroom is equipped with a corian double sink with out-of-wall taps. The walk in shower is fitted with a 200mm rain shower and hand shower and 2 glass doors.
The Luxury boat is fitted with all luxury equipments as a normal luxury house. Underfloor heating, domotica, high speed internet, cable and even an automated drawbridge, automated ceiling windows, electric taps and instant boiling water taps.
On the deck outside you can lounge and even tan if it's a sunny day. We've put two lounge chairs on the deck but if you'd rather have a small bite outside, you can also find a brand new picknicktable on the sidewalk of the boat.
The boat is located on the other side of the J.W. van Overloop Park, next to the Hortus Botanical gardens. In the summer this little park is ideal for bbq, sunning, meeting people or even a swim. The close neighborhood also offers allot of site seeing like the Hermitage museum and jewish museum, Royal Theatre Carré, Markets at the Waterloosquare, 'Artis' the Amsterdam Zoo and nice bars, restaurants and a cinema. Also you can find a supermarket around the corner as well a bagels and beans for breakfast and a coffee company!
Eighter one of us, or our neighbour Peter are available at all times and will make sure you have a great and pleasant stay. You can ask us for the nicest spots around and we can even take you on the channels for a boat tour on request. We also made you a guide with hotspots that we personally like best!
The best way to get around is to use bikes, by foot or the cab service Uber! We made an overview of the nicest non-touristical places to visit and nearby places where you can rent bikes and boats. If you have any special requests please let us know.
